Cleaner – Rondout Head Start – Kingston, NY, Regular, Part-time, Per Diem 10-month Position,
7.5 hrs. per week, M-F. Ability to work with minimal supervision and relate well with children. Prior cleaning experience preferred.
Dietary Aide – Children’s Learning Center – Early Head Start/Head Start – Kingston, NY, Regular, Part-time, Full Year Position, 25 hrs. per week, M-F. The Dietary Aide provides Head Start children with meals that are nutritional and appropriate to their needs in an emotionally warm and caring environment. The Dietary Aide supports the classroom staff in expanding children’s food experiences and providing nutritional activities in their classrooms. The Dietary Aide creates an inviting atmosphere for parents, visitors, children, and staff. Requirements include good oral and written communication skills, ability to work with and relate to parents, children and staff. Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable means of personal transportation.
Food Service Worker – Head Start Ellenville Center – Ellenville, NY, Regular, Full-time, 10 Month-Position, 30 hrs. per week, M-F, 8:30AM-2:30PM. The Food Service Worker provides Head Start children with meals that are nutritional and appropriate to their needs in an emotionally warm and caring environment. The Food Service Worker supports the classroom staff in expanding children’s food experience and providing nutritional activities in their classrooms. The Food Service Worker creates an inviting atmosphere for parents, visitors, children, and staff. Requirements include experience in quantity cooking and volume buying, knowledge of nutritional needs of preschool children, good oral and written communication skills, ability to work with and relate to parents, children and staff. High School diploma/GED and valid NYS driver’s license and reliable means of personal transportation. Able to lift and carry 50 lbs.
