Sullivan County has been officially reassigned to UCCAC!

It is with great pleasure that UCCAC was informed by NYS DOS this past September that UCCAC will now be formally assigned the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) to begin October 1, 2018.  In addition, UCCAC is welcoming Brain Meade as the new Assistant Program Director serving Sullivan County communities.  He will be joined by our current Care Manager, Rosemary Melendez who will be assisting in Liberty, NY.

Congratulations to the newly elected President, Vice President and Treasurer of the UCCAC Board of Directors!

Effective November 9th, new board administration is taking hold with the changing of the guards!  Alex Mainetti, Esq., will serve as the new President and Board Chairperson with Carl Brown assuming the role of Vice President and Carl Belfiglio taking the lead as Treasurer.  These individuals will be serving a two (2) year term for UCCAC.  A press release will be issued in November.

Steve Schabot of Kingston has been named to the UCCAC Board of Directors at their September Board meeting held last month.

New Service to begin at UCCAC – Volunteer Driving Program for Ulster County Medicaid residents who don’t have transportation to and from medical appointments & treatments.

Seeking Volunteer Drivers to provide this service.  Must have a valid and clean NYS Driver’s License, a clean, smoke free car that is registered in NYS and has appropriate insurance; and the ability to provide support to these individuals to pick them up and drop them off at their medical destinations either within Ulster County or surrounding counties/states.  Reimbursement to the driver is per mile (.50 –  beginning when you pick-up the individual and drop off at their destination and then the return trip home.)  Multiple trips available per day, Monday – Friday.  Flexible scheduling as needed.
