Summer Youth Employment Program with Ulster County Office of Employment and Training
Applications are being accepted for summer youth employment for 2017 for students between the ages of 14 to 20 years old to receive a paid work experience for 5 weeks starting on or about June 26th. The jobs are all over the County and represent a wide variety of industries such as: cleaning, camps, childcare, clerical, maintenance, construction, food service etc.
Any young person who is part of a family that receives Public Assistance, SNAP, HEAP or Medicaid are automatically eligible for this program. Head Start in Kingston is requesting two (2) slots for students 16 years and older with childcare experience to apply!!

SPRINGFest – Saturday, May 20th, 2017 from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM located on Main St., in Highland — Rain or Shine!
Outreach Services is planning a Basket Bingo event for the community on Sunday, June 11th at the VFW in Kingston with the doors opening at 12 Noon. Games begin at 1:00 PM. Tickets are $15.00 for 15 games and a door prize ticket. Additional games are $10.00 ea.

Mass Distribution 2017
Dates: April 18 and 21, May 5, 16 and 19, June 2, 20 and 23, July 18 and 21, August 4, 15 and 18, September 1, 15 and 19, October 6, 17 and 20, November 17 and 21 and December 8 and 19. Tickets will be given out at 12:30 PM and the distribution starts at 1:00 PM.

UCCAC Received a State Grant to Renovate Lindsley Ave.
Dormitory Authority State of New York (DASNY) has awarded Ulster County Community Action Committee, Inc. (UCCAC) a Nonprofit Infrastructure Capital Investment Program (NICIP) grant award of $499,951 for the Renovation of the Facility at 70 Lindsley Ave., Kingston, NY. More details to follow.
